Tracey Edmonds exchanged marriage vows with film star Eddie Murphy on January 1, 2008, in a private ceremony on an island off Bora Bora.
On January 16, the couple released a statement saying, “After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further,” and called the Bora Bora wedding a “symbolic union”. She is now an executive producer of Deion Sanders’ OWN reality show and dating Deion Sanders.
The two had planned on having a legal ceremony upon their return to the U. On an episode of Sanders’ reality show, “Deion’s Family Playbook,” Tracey’s’ mother Jackie visits her daughter and expresses serious concern over what she believes is an unequal partnership.
Tracey flies to Texas every other week (when her two teenage sons are with their father, Kenny “Babyface”), so she can spend time with Deion and his family. We all make mistakes, but we have to live through our mistakes and realize how to correct them.In case there’s any question about the way to “fix” the problem, Jackie spells it out bluntly. I like her, she has never done anything in the public eye to damage who she is, I like how her and Babyface are co-parenting and you don’t hear about their children.“Deion needs to bring his ass there sometimes,” she tells her daughter. Obviously, something is right the Edmonds family and if she happy, so be it.“You guys need to alternate because you need to be in Beverly Hills more.” Tracey knows her mother means well and is only looking out for her, but defends her relationship and her partner, listing all of the different things he juggles in Dallas, from running Prime Prep Academy to raising eight children and saying that he’s doing his best.
