On Thursday, Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge William Hue set a ,000 cash bond.
As conditions of the bond, Blaedow is not to have contact with the alleged victim, her parents, other relatives or any child. A preliminary hearing has been set for Monday, July 18, before Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge David Wambach.
According to the criminal complaint, relatives of the alleged victim reported to the Whitewater Police Department on June 18 that she had reportedly been assaulted by Blaedow, who had allegedly confessed to such action to the girl’s mother.
The mother told investigators that Blaedow had informed her that he had touched the girl inappropriately over her clothes. The complaint states that the girl described two instances during which Blaedow had touched her.
In the first instance, Blaedow reportedly touched her over her pants on her “privates.” She indicated that he used his hand in a way that made her feel uncomfortable.During a second incident, the girl described a time when Blaedow again touched the inside of her thigh. “Well, everything she said is true,” he told investigators upon being confronted.According to the complaint, he described three different times in which he reportedly sexually abused the girl, defining sexual abuse as “feeling her up.” Blaedow said one time occurred in April 2014 when he touched her over her clothing.Other instances occurred while he was rubbing her back and he touched her inappropriately.He also made comments about touching the girl in a tent or a playhouse at another location.All of the alleged incidents occurred in the City of Whitewater, two of which were at locations within the Jefferson County portion of the city.
